Italian jewellery house Pomellato is set to enchant the world once again with the launch of its latest series, ‘MEMORIE D’ARCHIVIO’ (Archival Memories).

Celebrating the brand’s illustrious heritage and exceptional artistry, this captivating initiative introduces two reimagined capsule collections: ‘Mora’ and ‘Mosaico’. These collections honour Pomellato’s deep-rooted connection to nature and art, reflecting a timeless narrative of colour and craftsmanship.
Since its inception in 1967, Pomellato has been at the forefront of innovative jewellery design, effortlessly blending tradition with modern elegance. With the new series, the brand takes a nostalgic journey through its archives, reinventing beloved collections from 1996 and 1997, both of which encapsulate a vibrant expression of bold elegance.
At the heart of these collections lies a reinterpretation of Pomellato’s signature cabochon cut, celebrated for its smooth, sensual shapes. This voluptuous gem cut symbolizes the brand’s ethos of playful sophistication and remains a hallmark of its distinctive style.
Mora: Nature’s Bounty in Gem Form
The ‘Mora’ collection, inspired by the Italian word for blackberry, is a whimsical homage to nature’s abundance. Each ring in this collection is a miniature masterpiece, featuring clusters of cabochon gemstones elegantly perched atop sculptural rose gold bands. A standout design showcases mesmerizing labradorite with brilliant white diamonds, creating a stunning interplay of light and colour. Another striking piece pairs ethereal chalcedony with diamonds, offering a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Mosaico: Geometric Patterns
The ‘Mosaico’ collection draws inspiration from the ancient art of mosaic, seamlessly merging historical craftsmanship with contemporary flair. Each ring features a large, cabochon-cut gemstone at its centre, complemented by a brilliant-cut diamond or coloured gemstone pavé set in Pomellato’s signature rose gold. The collection showcases a stunning array of gems, from the mystical depths of sodalite to the earthy warmth of skarn accented by chrome tourmalines, and rare dendritic opals reminiscent of delicate ferns captured in time.
Vincenzo Castaldo, Pomellato’s Creative Director, reflects on the collections: “With Mora and Mosaico, I wanted to reintroduce two of Pomellato’s greatest successes that are particularly dear to me, using materials that have become increasingly interesting to us: mineral gemstones.”
Set to launch in October 2024, the ‘Mora’ and ‘Mosaico’ collections promise to captivate jewellery enthusiasts and collectors alike. These exquisite capsule collections not only underscore Pomellato’s commitment to innovation in jewellery design but also exemplify the brand’s ability to reinvent itself while honouring its rich heritage.
