Van Cleef & Arpels has added four new designs to its signature Alhambra collection. The new pieces include a bracelet, reversible ring, necklace, and watch, all with the house’s iconic four leaf clover design.
The new iterations come in guilloché rose gold with carnelian gem stones embedded in the design.
Although the Van Cleef & Arpels was first set up in the early 1900s it wasn’t until 1968 that its best-known design was created.
Inspired by both a family motto of believing in good luck, and the design of the Alhambra palace in Granada Spain (where Moorish motifs included four overlapping circles, similar to a four leaf clover); the new design quickly became an emblem of the iconic jewellery house.
The new pieces are now available at Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques throughout the region.
