Heavily involved in motorsport for many years, IWC Schaffhausen officially launched its own IWC Racing Team at the 76th Goodwood Members’ Meeting.

This daring step made the IWC become one of the first watch brands to compete in classic car races with its own team and car. At the wheel of the iconic Mercedes-Benz SL 300 “Gullwing,” David Coulthard took 9th place in the Salvadori Cup.

Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition

Also taking place at Goodwood, the iconic watch brand revealed a new member of its Ingenieur family- the Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition. This sporty timepiece comes in a black calfskin leather strap and its soft-iron inner cage is made out of titanium to protect the movement from magnetic fields. The lower part of the cage is elegantly designed in a brake disk style and imprinted with “76”, in the honor of this year’s edition of the Goodwood Members’ Meeting; which is also limited to 176 numbered watches only.
