Panerai has unveiled its new timepiece, the Luminor Quaranta BiTempo.
According to the house, the “Luminor Quaranta collection captures the distinctive aesthetic of the Luminor in a smaller dimension.” continuing the narrative of Panerai’s dual time complication.
Under the hood of the 40mm steel case, the watch is powered by the automatic P.900/GMT calibre with a three-day power reserve, showcased through the sapphire crystal open back, highlighting Panerai’s Swiss technicity and skilled savoir-faire.
The addition of the GMT function enables wearers to simultaneously track local time and a second-time zone, an essential feature for today’s cosmopolitan travellers. In low-light conditions, the gilded tip of the GMT hand illuminates in blue while the indexes glow in green, enhancing the watch’s legibility and aesthetic appeal.
