Paris Fashion Week: Lanvin FW18

Set at the Pavillon Vendôme in Paris, monochromatic shades and bright acid colours took over the essence of the Lanvin FW18 runway.

Debuted by the newly appointed artistic director, Olivier Lapidus welcomed an energetic collection that finally revived our passion for one of the oldest French luxury brand. It was full of urban tailoring that included beautiful iridescent silks contrasted with dark hues.

At Lanvin, orange was really the new black; Olivier tried hard to keep a unique balance between the edgy chic approach, where he sent out neon orange leather pants or pencil skirts matched with a black leather blouse or motto jacket, also there were some ombré dresses coordinated with the combat boots.

Lanvin’s FW18 was fresh with colour, energy and life that wakes the cold winters with complete radiance, taking inspiration from wardrobe staples of today’s modern women.

Truly chapeau bas to the perfect union of Olivier Lapidus and Lanvin; we can’t wait to see what future holds for both.
