Emirates have unveiled fully enclosed private suites in First Class as part of their newly designed Boeing 777 fleet, and they’re something special.

High-flying customers can now enjoy floor to ceiling sliding doors and sleek design features mimicking the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Highlights include zero-gravity seat position inspired by NASA technology giving a feeling of relaxation and weightlessness, mood lighting, full length cupboard for hanging clothes, video call function for cabin crew and a service window where you can be served drinks and canapes undisturbed.

No longer do you have to battle to get a window seat as they have also introduced the industry’s first virtual windows for suites located in the middle aisle. These windows project the view from outside the aircraft using real time camera technology.

Sir Tim Clark, President Emirates Airline said: “We are very excited about our new fully-enclosed suite which is a real game-changer in terms of privacy, comfort, and thoughtful luxury.”

The service will be available from December 1 with the latest Emirates 777 design debuting on flights to Geneva and Brussels.

Now that’s above and beyond cloud nine of luxury travel.
