La Plage by La Maison Ani is set to return to Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah on the 1st of October, following two successful seasons at West Beach and a summer residency at Hacienda White in Egypt.

The reopening marks the concept’s return to the UAE after debuting under its new name during its Egyptian residency.

Previously known as Maison de la Plage, the restaurant has been renamed to establish a clearer connection with Chef Izu Ani’s La Maison Ani.

Its seaside counterpart brings the signature dishes and French and Mediterranean cooking approach of La Maison Ani to the beach, while maintaining a distinct identity and offering dishes created specifically for the setting.

The venue combines a restaurant, beach, pool, cabanas and lounge, allowing guests to move between dining, time by the water and drinks as the day progresses. Families can make use of the beach, pool and restaurant, while private cabanas provide a more secluded setting.

The menu includes La Maison Ani favourites such as Salad Niçoise, escargot in garlic butter with anchovies and the Izu Burger, alongside a wider selection designed for sharing by the sea.

Later in the season, La Plage by La Maison Ani will introduce three market areas offering a more interactive approach to dining. The green market will allow guests to select fresh produce, while the fish market will offer a choice of catch and preparation. At the meat market, guests can select cuts designed for sharing, including a dry-aged selection that is unique to La Plage by La Maison Ani among Chef Izu’s venues.

The concept draws inspiration from the French markets Chef Izu visited while living in Normandy, placing ingredients and individual choices at the centre of the dining experience.

“Food has always been a way for me to bring people together,” says Chef Izu Ani. “With La Plage by La Maison Ani, guests can enjoy a connection to La Maison Ani’s cooking in a setting that has its own spirit. I want people to come for a meal, stay by the sea and feel as welcome here with their family and friends as they would in my home.”
