Dubai’s Riviera Cinema Club is returning to The Lana, Dorchester Collection, this month, bringing six evenings of cinema, dining and panoramic skyline views from the luxury hotel’s terrace between the 30th of October and the 18th of December.
Following previous editions, the latest season will see Riviera partner with Leica to transform Riviera Terrace into an open-air cinema. Each screening will feature a bespoke menu inspired by the film, with dishes served in sync with key moments on screen, combining cinematic storytelling with a curated gastronomic experience.
The programme spans three themes, beginning with Disney classics before turning to female-led favourites and festive films. The season opens on the 30th of October with Beauty and the Beast, offering a fairytale start to the series against the backdrop of Dubai’s illuminated skyline.
November shifts the focus with Julia Roberts’ romantic comedy Pretty Woman on the 13th of November, followed by The Devil Wears Prada on the 27th of November.
As the festive season approaches, the programme turns to Christmas nostalgia. Home Alone screens on the 11th of December, followed by its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, on the 18th of December. The two films will close the cinema club’s 2026 programme with a dose of seasonal mischief.
The series is set to continue in January 2027 with a darker cinematic direction. Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises are planned for the new year, with screening dates yet to be announced.
Screenings begin at 7pm, with tickets priced at AED 650 per person. Reservations are highly recommended for the limited series.
