Burberry Brings Together Its Cashmere Icons for the Festive Season

Burberry is bringing together its signature cashmere pieces ahead of the festive season, celebrating 170 years of British heritage with a collection spanning lightweight trench coats, knitwear and its iconic check scarves.

A new series of portraits starring British model Jean Campbell captures the collection against the leafy grounds of Longleat House in Wiltshire, England, highlighting the warmth, craftsmanship and refinement at the heart of the house’s cashmere offering.

Among the collection’s key pieces is a reimagining of Burberry’s original trench coat in lightweight cashmere. The design is offered in two signature silhouettes: the Kensington for women and the Hastings for men. Crafted by specialist Italian mills through more than 90 processes, the fabric is gently brushed to achieve an exceptionally soft finish. A palette of classic neutrals and rich seasonal tones completes the offering.

The cashmere knitwear collection includes crew-neck sweaters distinguished by considered details, from tonal elbow patches and chain stitching at the shoulders to a contrasting Knight motif. The designs offer a contemporary interpretation of Burberry’s established signatures, balancing understated detailing with recognisable house codes.

At the heart of the collection is the Burberry Check cashmere scarf, a longstanding expression of the brand’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship. For more than 125 years, Burberry has partnered with a family-run Scottish mill, which has produced its scarves since the 1980s. Each scarf passes through more than 30 stages of production, using traditional techniques, before being woven on traditional looms, washed in natural spring water and brushed with teasels. The fibre-dyed cashmere designs are available in more than 30 shades.

To further spotlight its cashmere offering, Burberry is introducing a new Cashmere Shop to stores worldwide. The dedicated retail space brings together house icons made from exceptionally soft cashmere and fine blends, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, comfort and personalisation.

Customers can also access a range of complimentary services designed to help personalise and maintain their purchases. Monogramming is available on selected cashmere sweaters, scarves and blankets, with initials and symbols embroidered in a choice of colourful threads. Meanwhile, the Cashmere Refresh aftercare service offers a way to care for and refresh cherished Burberry pieces.
