The Middle East has one of the most challenging climates in the world. From desert heat, to soupy humidity.
That’s where new Saudi Arabian beauty brand Asteri steps in. Developed by Saudi women, for women in the region, it offers products that will stay put even in the more challenging temperatures.
“I realised that there wasn’t a brand that represented the modern Arab woman who doesn’t fit the traditional stereotypes. Asteri is inspired by strong Arab women, who are always pushing boundaries and reaching for the stars,” Saudi entrepreneur and founder of the label Sara Al Rashed said.
Not only creating a range which performs well in various weather conditions, the collection is also inclusive. Covering a vast range of colours to suit different skin tones and types.
The designs are also vegan, microplastic-free, and cruelty free with 80 per cent of the packaging material from recycled sources.
The range launched this month and is available from the brand’s e-commerce platform, with shipping across the GCC.
