While Swiss cosmetic brand Valmont is beloved in Europe, it’s now finally making its mark in the UAE by opening its first concession store in the Galeries Lafayette within The Dubai Mall. And as the doors swing open, here are the top three skincare buys to invest in to fall in love with the brand.
Valmont has long been a Swiss skincare favourite
As of April 2019, a new dose of Swiss skincare had arrived in Dubai in a quest of winning over the Middle Eastern audience. While those who are familiar with the European of Asian beauty market might be familiar with the cosmetics brand, Valmont is a relative newcomer to this side of the world.
While the first physical skincare product was launched by Valmont in the 1980s, the name of the brand and its core in cosmetics had long been established by the time it became a retail item.
Back in 1905, the Valmont Clinic was established just on the banks of Lake Geneva in Switzerland. It became a sought after destination for treatments such as hydrotherapy, and later when on to delve into the world of cosmetic surgery.

Now in 2019, the now has an entire line of skincare products, spas and individual stores around the world, and three other names under its umbrella: Storie Veneziane perfumes, L’elixir Des Glaciers skincare and Il Profvmo perfumes.
