Vetements
Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner looked super sexy wearing thigh-high boots in 2016. If you’re going to invest in a pair we suggest getting these. They come in a selection of autumnal shades. For resort 2017, Vetements collaborated with Manolo Blahnik to create more hip-grazing boots, but this time, in jewel tone satin. Form an orderly line please!
Chanel
The riding boot is a classic autumn/winter style. It’s perfect for the countryside, but it’s also great for the city too. Karl Lagerfeld chose the simple style to anchor his fall 2016 Chanel collection. The lace-up ankle and Chanel-branded toe cap make these equestrian boots striking and memorable. Not only are they great with leggings and jeans but they are superb with ruffled dresses too, for a romantic-chic, grungy touch.
Saint Laurent
The ‘Tribute’ platforms were the last iconic shoes that pretty much most girls owned (if you were a fan of the brand). But Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent debut featured several plays on the brands iconic YSL logo. This style was memorable because they redefined elegant black pumps. The YSL-branded heel and simple ankle strap made a huge statement.
Balenciaga
Square-toe platform boots were a big hit in 2016. Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga debut saw these stylish must-haves on the runway. They have been so popular that they’ve sold out in stores. Word is that even guys are splurging on the sky-high style.
Gucci
For fall 2016, we saw loafers as key look for comfort and style. These new Gucci shoes are an update of the classic look. The pumps have a fringed square toe that’s topped with the house’s signature interlocked emblem. They also come in metallic shades. Check out the gold leather with a cool cracked finish. And that little bit of heel is just perfect!
