Paris Fashion Week: Chloe FW18

Graphic prints, clothes that make you want to move and plenty of statement accessories – welcome to Chloe FW18 world.

The second collection for Natacha Ramsay-Levi harmoniously flowed from the SS18 range and once again we saw the bohemian Chloe girl with a modern edge. Ramsay-Levi presented loosely structured buckled coats, laid back tailoring in deep red, lace high neck shirts, paisley print reflecting her first collection, low necklines and dreamy flowing silhouettes. She added charm through detail like ruffles, embellishment while the hairy texture on bomber jackets, skirts and down the hemline of trousers added a western touch.

Delicate knitwear was accented with wide gold cuffs on wrists and above the elbow while the flared trousers were toughened up with zippers placed low on the thighs.  Logo’s reading Chloe were spotted on the knitted socks, while wide collars and roll necks carried a graphic print motif echoing the 60’s.

Despite the feminine air, the shoes remained tough with lace-up heeled walking booties, pointed toe ankle boots in an array of printed fabric with metallic heels. The bags were double strapped, some with the horse motif seen on her jackets during the SS18 show, while other leather goods included large travel bags – some that wouldn’t look out of place on a stylish hitchhiker journeying through the Arizona desert.

Free-spirited, wild but ever so chic – never have we wanted to be a Chloe girl more than now.
