Breaking News: Men’s Creative Director Kim Jones To Leave Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall 2018 show is set to debut on Thursday January 18th.2018, which will sadly be Kim Jones’ final with the French Maison. The British menswear creative director will be exiting the brand effectively following his last Men’s show in Paris.

Joined in 2011, Jones has been famous for his outstanding trend setter moments at Louis Vuitton and is defined as big risk-taker artistic, especially after his big collaboration with Supreme.

The sudden news was declared by Louis Vuitton’s chairman and chief executive officer, Michael Burke, who in fact shares his wishes saying:

“Continued success in his next venture,” describing Jones as “the driving force behind some of the Maison’s most successful projects and collaborations.”

Of course, it is undefined who will be Vuitton’s next successor, and there are a lot of question marks about where Jones decides to go now. But if we go back to September 2017, Versace reportedly was interested in Jones, but nothing official has resurfaces; and another option could be Burberry, who also is about to part their ways with Christopher Bailey by the end of March.

We wonder what Jones has in store for us with his very last Louis Vuitton show, keep your eyes out!
