Luxury fragrance house Diptyque has revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose their scents and candles for their wedding day.

The couple handpicked a selection of fresh and floral candles and room sprays that scented the areas where newly titled Duke and Duchess of Sussex were getting ready for their special occasion. The brand’s fresh scents were also used in the surroundings of St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The brand is known for their ability to uniquely blend aromas that have earned them a cult status among fragrance lovers. We don’t know the exact scents that the couple chose, but we imagine they would’ve complimented the foxgloves, peonies, roses and birch, which were included in the floral arrangements by Philippa Craddock.

Fabienne Mauny, Global Managing Director of Diptyque told the Telegraph that they were extremely proud to be chosen ‘to scent such an important moment for Their Royal Highnesses’ and added:

“We were touched to have been part of such a significant day, made more special as one of our founders, Desmond Knox Leet, was British. We hope the fragrance contributed to such a memorable day.”
