The annual fundraising gala benefitting the Clara Lionel Foundation is a star studded event that last year saw A-listers like Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Leonardo DiCaprio in attendance, and performances from Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris.

This time, Rihanna has asked Rae to step in as the host for the event while Childish Gambino will be the gala’s performer. On social media, Rihanna wrote:
“So excited to announce that my sis @issarae is hosting this year’s #DiamondBall in exactly one month!! AND @childishgambino is closing out the night with a special performance! SEPT. 13. NYC.”
The singer launched the foundation in 2012 in honour of her grandparents to improve health, education, arts and culture around the world. Last year, around $3.2 million was raised for the cause.
