Rock and Soul: Messika Unveils Second Collaboration With Gigi Hadid

Gigi Hadid and Valérie Messika have collaborated on a second collection for the jewellery house.

Named My Soul, the new range is a departure from the punk rock vibe of last year’s edition in favour of a bohemian romance, with pieces that are designed for layering and stacking.

It is a reflection of two strong personalities and it’s pieces are both sensual and ultra-wearable. Inspired by fashion-hippie styles, these pieces settle over the skin like ornate tattoos – ideal for day to night.

“For this second collection, Gigi knew exactly what she wanted,” said Valerie Messika. “She created a number of highly precise moodboards, which formed the basis of our creative process. She was the orchestra’s conductor, providing artistic direction for these ideas as I sought to bring my diamond expertise and the Messika values to her dream jewellery.”

Through the vibrancy of gold, fluidity of chains and an ergonomic comfort when worn, the two friends have worked the diamonds into drops of light faithful to the “mix & match” signature of Maison Messika.
