Cartier has revealed a new edition of its Tank Française watch.
This iconic watch was first launched in 1996 and was a modern icon in its time. It features a metal bracelet and a monobloc metal design. This bold re-edition comes in both steel and yellow gold, with or without diamonds.
“The new Tank Française reflects a creative conviction. Like rediscovering the raw nature of a cut stone, it was about capturing the watch’s radical shape, simplifying its essential lines and stripping them of all embellishment to return to the myth’s origin.” Said Marie-Laure Cérède, Cartier Jewellery and Watchmaking Creative Director.
The new watch is both masculine and feminine, featuring a timeless and elegant design that doesn’t grow old.
The watch debuts with an impressive campaign directed by Guy Ritchie, featuring Catherine Deneuve and Rami Malek. Shot in Paris the captures the avant-garde spirit of the watch and takes the brand back to its roots. The freedom and creativity of the watch are expressed through this playful film which is a tribute to cinema.
The new Tank Française is now available globally.
