On its Fiftieth anniversary, Etro goes down memory lane to celebrate its homeland- Milan and its roots, starting from its people to its places.
“Dive into Milan’s many stories, characters, portraits and places to discover our roots”
Etro’s new Spring Summer 2018 campaign, tells the tale of the Italian brand’s origins and its connection with the city of Milan, where the journey all began. It shares the story of a two-day trip to Milan, where the duo designers along with the two photographers Paolo Zerbini and Nadia Moro, and their five models roam around historical places, as they mingle with the most treasured locales and regular people of this lively city.
For this season, Etro portrays a cosmopolitan woman, dressed in light ethereal dresses with floral motifs with soft-feminine silhouettes, always coordinated with the signature Rainbow Colours Bag. Of course, the paisley print is the graphic representation of the brand’s aesthetic- known as the seed from which the Tree of Life blooms; the iconic print is also reflected in the menswear collection, featured on hand-embroidered bomber jackets and on sharp tailored suits as well.
