Five Things We Learned Talking To Amanda Navai Over Morning Coffee
You don’t need an invention to be an entrepreneur
While explaining that she’d always wanted to be an entrepreneur – toying with many business ideas over the years – she said it was a talk she attended by the founder of the Coffee Republic chains that finally inspired her to take action. Amanda explained: “You don’t have to re-invent the wheel, just improve it.”
Don’t wait until it’s perfect
Is the advice Amanda has for aspiring entrepreneurs. She explained that nothing will ever be perfect and that you just have to start and learn lessons from the mistakes along the way.
Stability and newness can be the challenges
Rather than getting where she is, it’s staying there that has been the most difficult aspect of her career. Amanda described her own self as her own challenge.
Patience is the greatest virtue
Saying she lacks it and her mother perfects it, the local entrepreneur revealed her mum’s patience is one of the reasons why she inspires her so much.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way
Is both the businesswoman’s personal and professional motto. Amanda said: “Whatever you want to do, you can do it. It’s just about how to get there. ”
