Still reliving Coachella and that incredible Beyoncé performance? Well lucky for you, Balmain collaborated with the singer on a collection that gives fans a chance to purchase a piece of musical history.
Inspired by what Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, dressed the star in for her performance, the capsule collections of embellished T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies will all feature Beyoncé’s initials written in Greek letters, taking inspiration from US sororities.
Available at the brand’s flagship store in Paris from tomorrow, before landing online on Net-a-Porter, MyTheresa and Beyoncé’s website on Saturday, Rousteing took to social media to say:
“What we all saw on those successive Coachella Weekends was nothing less than iconic. Her performance, message and music – along with the looks that we created together- made for one of those rare, indelible images that I believe will long remain in my generation’s collective memory.”
“It’s not often I get to partner with someone that I so highly respect and from whom I can learn so much. Our three months of meetings, rehearsals, face-timing, & endless phone calls definitely paid off,” he added.
Not only will you have a chance to snap some seriously stylish memorabilia, but all the money raised from the collection will be donated to the United Negro College Fund.
