The Lyst Index is released quaterly by fashion search engine Lyst, who look at wish lists and searches of over five million shoppers, and between April and June Gucci came out on top.

Virgil Abloh’s brand Off-White secured second spot, now also Louis Vuitton’s creative director for menswear, who was followed by Balenciaga. Fourth down was Givenchy, designer Clare Waight Keller created Meghan Markle’s wedding gown, with Dolce & Gabbana, loved by millennials and worn by royalty such as Lady Kitty Spencer, completed the top five.

Vetements took sixth place, Versace in seven while celebrity endorsement from the Kardashian’s has also helped Fendi slide into eighth spot. Nike was the only non-luxury brand to make the top 10 in ninth position, ahead of Prada in 10.

Lyst also noted the hottest products over the three months with belts being the must-have accessory, especially the Gucci GG.

Many might disagree, but it looks like Balenciaga managed to make Crocs fashionable with their version being the 10th most favourite item. Recently, the brand unveiled this rubbery shoe in a stiletto version with badges of flags and flowers on their Instagram.
