Previously, J.Crew have partnered with brands like Sophia Webster and North Face, amongst others. When Creative Director Jenna Lyons saw saw head of women’s design Somsack Sikhounmuong wearing an printed men’s handkerchief from Drake’s tied at the neck she thought it was only natural to make some for women. Incase you’re thinking of the rapper Drake, it’s not. Drake’s a British haberdashery company founded back in 1977. Known mainly for their ties and shirts, the company has never done women’s clothes — until now.

Lyons and Sikhounmuong approached Michael Hill of Drake’s to collaborate on a curated collection of women’s pyjama tops, bottoms, scarves and ballet flats in hues of pinks, greens and purples. There are Bengal tiger blouses, deep wine bird of paradise point flats and a striking navy unicorn pyjama set.  If you’re not sure how to wear pyjamas, mix and match with block pieces and wear them with cashmere sweaters and trainers. You can even wear them with heels, tennis shoes and loafers.

Prices range from under $60 for a scarf to $198 for the tops and trousers and the full collection launches on August 16.
